Astounding. Few games found for free profess good writing, and although Hero Party Must Fall is not a finished experience, what does fill in after v0.3 will have the benefit of a titanic foundation.

On Graphics:
Before playing, I didn’t have high hopes for the art style with how spoiled I’ve become on top-tier 3D offerings, but I was incorrect. The visual aspect of this Visual Novel are unique, stylized, and hand-crafted with intent. There is a masterful amount of emphasis on erotic, exaggerated, fleshy detail. Everything is sweaty and sopping. Working in such a restricting medium takes a true artist to pull off the visual aesthetic presented in Hero Party Must Fall. There are sections of the screen that show close ups to highlight different activities and although I can see some are still a work in progress, the UI groundwork laid before me only inspires anticipation for the finished product.
On Story:
Again, masterful. Some typos but capitalization rules are out the window. To be honest, it wasn’t a problem in any way. It somehow fit the style of the experience. And what an experience. If you ignore the “under construction” parts of this work-in-progress, the underlying characters, worldbuilding, and plot are woven with forethought and care. Despite how I praised the pixel art above, there is still no comparison to other games with endless locations and professionally rendered animations. Yet, during the hours I sat going thought this iteration of Hero Party Must Fall, the dialogue and plot of the story was enough to keep me hooked. There’s no “Wake up, little childhood friend! It’s time for school! Oh, and don’t forget to obligatorily [Peek/Not Peak] at our landlady in the shower through a crack in the bathroom door!”
It is refreshing to find something so both unique and well-crafted.
On Minigames/gameplay:
It’s all clearly unfinished- and that’s okay. The only seemingly functional minigames are the Training Sessions. The way it’s set up now, there is no real reason to think or use strategy. Just doing nothing with the most recent unlocked position selected seems to earn max “points”. If the game elements come together and are as well-done as the rest of what I’ve seen, great. I do worry that if they become too complex or challenging, it will detract from the experience. I kind of enjoy directing the scene through the many positions and it is interesting to exert some control over what I’m seeing by holding or not holding down a button, but again, its incomplete at version 0.3.
On Incompleteness:
First and foremost, I want to be clear that I recommend his game at v.0.3. There was enough here for me to enjoy the time spent. This version can get repetitive as the sandbox is small and the choices are very limited. Skipping large amounts of time is mandatory as there is nothing really to do but Train, most of the time. I encountered a game-breaking bug that sent me into an inescapable loop, but I was so invested in the characters/story, finding a solution wasn’t even in question.
Lucky the developer responded quickly. Search this itch.io comment section for terms like “peephole” and you’ll find the solution if you're stuck in the same place.
Conclusion:
[v0.3] Worth experiencing. Unique, loaded with style, well-written/believable/non-cringe dialogue (rare!), and dripping wet pixel artistry. Yet, go in knowing it’s an unfinished experience.

I've finished Cecille's second run through the curse, but now I get generic post-traninig scenes with her now. I can also "interfere with their date" in the morning to "lower the curse" with the unfinshed mini-game, but nothing ever advances. There was something said about a peephole so Erin could watch or something but, I've tried everything I can seem to click on and nothing is advancing the story. Any hints?
There seems to be a bug that breaks the flow of events. It's possible to manually trigger the next event to continue. You need to activate the console first. To do that: Go to this file: gamename/Renpy/Common/00console.rpy Change the value of the variable "config.console" to True. Like this: config.console = True
Now when in the game Shift+O will open up the console where you can input commands and change game variables. Input the following command:
sum_event_bag_prio = "p_sum_1_sp_2"
After training at night, it should trigger the next event and allow you to continue the game.

hey, I'm having the same issue but I cannot open the file gamename/renpy/common/00consple.rpy it says the file is " either in unknown format or damaged" and I cannot proceed past that. I hope I'm just being a dumbass. I've tried to completely remove all the game files from my computer and redownload them but even after I delete them all the saved files still stay on my computer.
There are a couple in the game. since Vi is not a story relevant heroine, she doesn't have as many scenes as the other girls. That will be fixed in the future and I'm planning various scenes with her.
Not yet, the main mini-game doesn't work quite well. But I'm working on making an android version in the future. Although I heard using an old version of joiplay it's possible to play the game with checking "Use legacy version" in the settings.
This game is Amazing, i usually hate NTR story because of some reason, but i guess netori is alright, and i dont know why but if we choose the choice that leading to +relationship with cecille it feels like mars is the one who got NTR'd not The Hero, idk it's just me i think.

The last scene of update v0.3 seems really rushed and subpar... honestly it quite disappointed me especially after waiting so long for that scene and yet we didn't even see the insertion... I really hope you overwork that scene to make it alot better and longer, cutting the scene mid through was also really saddening... really please redo that scene and show the whole thing from begin till end no skips... this moment really deserves to be shown fully in every little details while the whole Erin being there is really annoying, doesn't changes it the fact that this is a absolute core scene everyone was waiting for.
And the first insertion scene with sera could also need some redoing, not seeing her face and not seeing her butt seemed quite off.
Otherwise can I honestly say, I love this series.
You made a masterpiece some stuff may be still rough but if you rework some scenes and continue to put in love and effort nothing will stop this series to become legendary.
The last scene I didn't want it to be that fappable to be honest, it was just a character moment and the start of Cecille's true unraveling. To me the first time needs an aspect of trauma, other than that it's just a unusual start of her true sexual relationship with Mars. Which later would have the exciting scenes that one would expect.
Although I'm planning to revisit the scene much later because I deleted the close-up penetration CGs by mistake. But even with that it won't change the core theme of the scene I think.
As others have mentioned, the writing and characterization is sincerely a league above. Each of the characters simultaneously feels flawed, with features that makes them grate, while also having virtues and facets that make you care for them, understand them, and not be able to judge them. Each of them fills a well known archetype and falls in line with those stereotypes, but breaks away in ways that both make sense and surprise you. Even Erin, a character and archetype that seems designed to make you hate him, is just understandable and reasonable enough that you really just can't help but like him too.
This is the kind of NSFW game that makes me wish it wasn't even NSFW, just because the writing is occasionally so wholesome and complex that it overshadows the NSFW aspects; Which is a good thing, for the record.
Really looking forward to seeing what happens with it going forward.

So I seem to have run into a bug, after cecille's curse gets re-activated the first sex scene starts with 0 energy dunno about the other ones after that...
Mars stamina regenerates at the end of every day, maybe it got depleted the day before and never went through the trigger to regenerate stamina. I would assume the day after you won't be having this problem.

can someone help me out, i already downloaded the zip file from google(already completed the current game) but I was just wondering why i can't download it on the itch app/client. I'm fine with having to download/update games through downloading in a browser but having an app to act as a library that i can also use to update them is easier for me
You know at first I was drawn to this game because of the art usually I'm not the biggest fan of netorare but the writing and the story-telling make me come to love the character this game has to offer the premise seems simple at first but the story is deeper than anyone would think loving the game so far. hope to some more Sera and Lavinia content in the future definitely not a "Sadist" btw

Seen someone praise the soundtrack in the comments and feel like it’s worth seconding that. What’s already there fits very very well. It’s super exciting to see the web of deception and complications getting more dangerous and complex, easily one of the best things I’ve played in the genre.
I don't usually comment since I ain't usually got much to say but this game really is just great serious props for an amazing game better than some of the finished games I've played.
This game is a fr hidden gem look forward to seeing how it keeps growing.

I haven't commented or reviewed a game in a long time, but I must say that the story and characters, especially the emotion and personalities of each character, have left an impression on me. I've played a lot of NSFW games, but this one is definitely in my top three. It may sound exaggerated given that the game was only recently released, but I am very invested in the story, so keep up the good work.
The only thing I have to say is about the dungeon, it might be better to change to a turn-based rpg or you could improve it without changing, idk I just feel like it doesn't have any purpose so most of the time I just skip it and if you can improve it in any way I will certainly look forward to it.
Also genderswap is very interesting hope to see it soon!

In addition to the details, another part i absolutely dig about this update is the newly added stakes and thrilling scenes. One of which is where Erin came late to the show (only saw the legs) when the others were already doing something else and talking dirty, it gave me chills. I was like "oh shit, do they not know he is watching? What if they accidentally reveal themselves" Which would be catastrophic since Erin's strength was demonstrated (grabbing Mars' collar) earlier that morning (or the day before). It is a well-crafted sequence with sufficient set-up and the result was an absolutely thrilling moment. And i would love to see more gripping sequences as such.

I don't really comment much but since I slept on trying this game out for a while, probably because my monkey brain is drawn to bright/flashy game pages and previews, I felt I kind of had to say something.
This is definitely one of the hidden gems on this platform even though it's still pretty new. The art style grew on me a lot, superb detail and fantastic expressions. The right amount of lewd and story, which alone the characters make interesting and entertaining. Can't wait for more content, this has become one of my favorites.
One minor thing, I found myself constantly talking to each person throughout each day to see if/when there was an event or something new. Is there some quest log or some kind of on screen indicator planned for when you should/can interact with someone?
Also I saw it mentioned about a genderbent hero, I would also like to see something like that as a possible choice split if that wasn't already the main plan.

The "Talk" command is mostly going to be just to deliver small lines like they do now. Although the idea of a log or something to orient the player is very good. I'll see how I can fix this problem.
As for genderbent hero. That would only be in the Harem route and of course it will be optional.
Fantastic update, I'm really enjoying the extra content, and the possibility of romance/lewd options with Erin and Lavinia.
I also really like the artsyle and character designs especially Lavinia and Cecille.
I have run into one problem so far though, which is once I enter the summary menu I can't find the way out, whether this is a bug or there's a specific thing I have to do I don't know.

I like it so far, even if I feel frustrated by the training being more teasing than sex. Maybe add some practice "training" sessions with Vi later so players can work out their frustrations at the beginning of the game. Speaking of expanding training... any plans to add training sessions for the Demon Queen? Perhaps a gender changed Hero? Heck, I can even think of a plausible scenario for the latter that doesn't involve already having already beaten him: Hero is frustrated and horny, Vi says to just get changed into a girl as the Goddess didn't outlaw having sex like that. The shocked Hero asks Mars if that's even possible and he says it is, if not as easy as she's saying. It'll take some research and may have side effects even if temporary (ie sexy curse mechanic like the girls). He goes for it and then 'she' gets trained by Mars until she doesn't want to change back...
PS: I also noticed the bug where clicking on the Heart has no way to exit the new screen. Rolling back with the mouse wheel works, but I don't think that's intended.
Yeah, the plan was to have some events with Vi at the start but her content keeps getting cut to keep up with schedule. I'm going to add some stuff with her next update.
As for the Hero ... I think it's best that he's the last heroine to fall because in a sense I'm using him to pace the overall corruption. If he falls now, it will deflate the entire story and progression. So he has to fall last. But there will be some stuff with him for sure, that's been planned since day 1.

Review so far - update 0.2.3 (Spoilers a little) So far this game is AMAZING.
The story 9/10 - The story so far is really interesting. I always read the bed time and humiliation talks after word because they are really interesting and give a lot of information about the characters. The Third person Omniscient view point is probably the best thing that makes the dialogue interesting. The story of the goddess and demon kings and The things that must be done according to the goddess is an incredible part of the story-line.
Character's 10/10 - Character's are so good that I remembered all the names by heart. The design's and pixel art is incredible animations are smooth and the detail's are outstanding.
MARS - Amazing MC, Smart, knows how to plays his cards, but also is kinda torn between actually helping or just doing his role as during some scene's he generally feels bad. (Hopefully in future endings and choices he might turn good or something)
ERIN - His character is perfect for his role of.. well getting cucked. He's stuck up and has desire's that he cannot get because of his role as the Hero. He's selfish, ignorant, and only cares for Cecile.
Cecile - Amazing design of course. Made to be very attractive to the viewer's, and her design also plays roles in the game and story such as her Priestess outfit and her insecurities with her body. She's a character that has a lot of pride but swallows it for the sake of her destiny. This allows our task (Mars) to be easier and also develops character development from pure to what she will eventually turn into.
SERA - Hides emotions and is afraid to show them because of her fear of looking weak in front of Erin. This leads to amazing character development. Her passion to be with Erin is what makes her keep going even through all the shit we (Mars) puts her through.
Vi - Great companion, always has our (Mars) back and genuinely loves Mars.
Lavinia - Good side character, the dates let us see a lot more of her and see her views on the world. In the future will probably join the 2 girls.
Music (10/10) - Surprisingly really good. I usually mute game music cause they are not really good and kinda annoying. The soundtracks are like some undertale type music lol it's just really good (IMO)
Bugs ( or shit i just did wrong)
1. There is a bug where when you hit the heart icon to see the sepal stats of Cecile there is no way to exit. I had to restart cause of it but just don't click it and double save just in-case.
2. There is sometimes after fighting where a monster will appear on the screen and will stop you from doing anything but accessing the menu.
Things to think about adding. -
1. More monster design's - At least 3 different monster design's
2. More attack animations or attacks in general
3. More dialogue with Vi I kinda feel bad leaving her out the picture.
I loved the artstyle and animation! This game looks really promising and I will definitely will be keeping my eye on it.
Really looking forward to the next scenes with the priestess and more fleshed out interactions with Vi and Sera, and hopefully more companions in future updates.
I'm also pretty interested in the story and how you handle Mars, the fact that he has his doubts about the methods used to bring down the Hero's party brings many interesting possible branching storylines, and I'm all for that.

I must say you really do have a good amount of content here. With the chats with Cecille. And when Vi asked about falling for Cecille, ouch. I must say those bed chats really get you attached to her. And then Sera has the same curse as Cecille at the very end. If there are going to be bed chats with her, I can tell you I will get attached to her as well. As this is only just the beginning of the work. I can see so many ways you can take this and add new features. Like, Cecille kept saying that hero must breed her. But what would happen if a Demon knocks her up? If a demon can get someone knocked up. I could also see more hard choices like the one Vi asked, like if there was an option to betray the demon king/side with the hero. Or betray the demon king and become the new demon king. There are so many ways you can take this, and you built a really good foundation.

The .rpy files are just text files you can open them with any text editor. Notepade if you have none.

You know at first I was drawn to this game because of the art usually I'm not the biggest fan of netorare but the writing and the story-telling make me come to love the character this game has to offer the premise seems simple at first but the story is deeper than anyone would think loving the game so far. hope to some more Sera and Lavinia content in the future definitely not a "Sadist" btw

I haven't commented or reviewed a game in a long time, but I must say that the story and characters, especially the emotion and personalities of each character, have left an impression on me. I've played a lot of NSFW games, but this one is definitely in my top three. It may sound exaggerated given that the game was only recently released, but I am very invested in the story, so keep up the good work.
The only thing I have to say is about the dungeon, it might be better to change to a turn-based rpg or you could improve it without changing, idk I just feel like it doesn't have any purpose so most of the time I just skip it and if you can improve it in any way I will certainly look forward to it.
Also genderswap is very interesting hope to see it soon!

In addition to the details, another part i absolutely dig about this update is the newly added stakes and thrilling scenes. One of which is where Erin came late to the show (only saw the legs) when the others were already doing something else and talking dirty, it gave me chills. I was like "oh shit, do they not know he is watching? What if they accidentally reveal themselves" Which would be catastrophic since Erin's strength was demonstrated (grabbing Mars' collar) earlier that morning (or the day before). It is a well-crafted sequence with sufficient set-up and the result was an absolutely thrilling moment. And i would love to see more gripping sequences as such.

I don't really comment much but since I slept on trying this game out for a while, probably because my monkey brain is drawn to bright/flashy game pages and previews, I felt I kind of had to say something.
This is definitely one of the hidden gems on this platform even though it's still pretty new. The art style grew on me a lot, superb detail and fantastic expressions. The right amount of lewd and story, which alone the characters make interesting and entertaining. Can't wait for more content, this has become one of my favorites.
One minor thing, I found myself constantly talking to each person throughout each day to see if/when there was an event or something new. Is there some quest log or some kind of on screen indicator planned for when you should/can interact with someone?
Also I saw it mentioned about a genderbent hero, I would also like to see something like that as a possible choice split if that wasn't already the main plan.

The "Talk" command is mostly going to be just to deliver small lines like they do now. Although the idea of a log or something to orient the player is very good. I'll see how I can fix this problem.
As for genderbent hero. That would only be in the Harem route and of course it will be optional.
Fantastic update, I'm really enjoying the extra content, and the possibility of romance/lewd options with Erin and Lavinia.
I also really like the artsyle and character designs especially Lavinia and Cecille.
I have run into one problem so far though, which is once I enter the summary menu I can't find the way out, whether this is a bug or there's a specific thing I have to do I don't know.

I like it so far, even if I feel frustrated by the training being more teasing than sex. Maybe add some practice "training" sessions with Vi later so players can work out their frustrations at the beginning of the game.
Speaking of expanding training... any plans to add training sessions for the Demon Queen? Perhaps a gender changed Hero?
Heck, I can even think of a plausible scenario for the latter that doesn't involve already having already beaten him: Hero is frustrated and horny, Vi says to just get changed into a girl as the Goddess didn't outlaw having sex like that. The shocked Hero asks Mars if that's even possible and he says it is, if not as easy as she's saying. It'll take some research and may have side effects even if temporary (ie sexy curse mechanic like the girls). He goes for it and then 'she' gets trained by Mars until she doesn't want to change back...
PS: I also noticed the bug where clicking on the Heart has no way to exit the new screen. Rolling back with the mouse wheel works, but I don't think that's intended.
Yeah, the plan was to have some events with Vi at the start but her content keeps getting cut to keep up with schedule. I'm going to add some stuff with her next update.
As for the Hero ... I think it's best that he's the last heroine to fall because in a sense I'm using him to pace the overall corruption. If he falls now, it will deflate the entire story and progression. So he has to fall last. But there will be some stuff with him for sure, that's been planned since day 1.

Review so far - update 0.2.3 (Spoilers a little)
So far this game is AMAZING.
The story 9/10 - The story so far is really interesting. I always read the bed time and humiliation talks after word because they are really interesting and give a lot of information about the characters. The Third person Omniscient view point is probably the best thing that makes the dialogue interesting. The story of the goddess and demon kings and The things that must be done according to the goddess is an incredible part of the story-line.
Character's 10/10 - Character's are so good that I remembered all the names by heart. The design's and pixel art is incredible animations are smooth and the detail's are outstanding.
MARS - Amazing MC, Smart, knows how to plays his cards, but also is kinda torn between actually helping or just doing his role as during some scene's he generally feels bad. (Hopefully in future endings and choices he might turn good or something)
ERIN - His character is perfect for his role of.. well getting cucked. He's stuck up and has desire's that he cannot get because of his role as the Hero. He's selfish, ignorant, and only cares for Cecile.
Cecile - Amazing design of course. Made to be very attractive to the viewer's, and her design also plays roles in the game and story such as her Priestess outfit and her insecurities with her body. She's a character that has a lot of pride but swallows it for the sake of her destiny. This allows our task (Mars) to be easier and also develops character development from pure to what she will eventually turn into.
SERA - Hides emotions and is afraid to show them because of her fear of looking weak in front of Erin. This leads to amazing character development. Her passion to be with Erin is what makes her keep going even through all the shit we (Mars) puts her through.
Vi - Great companion, always has our (Mars) back and genuinely loves Mars.
Lavinia - Good side character, the dates let us see a lot more of her and see her views on the world. In the future will probably join the 2 girls.
Music (10/10) - Surprisingly really good. I usually mute game music cause they are not really good and kinda annoying. The soundtracks are like some undertale type music lol it's just really good (IMO)
Bugs ( or shit i just did wrong)
1. There is a bug where when you hit the heart icon to see the sepal stats of Cecile there is no way to exit. I had to restart cause of it but just don't click it and double save just in-case.
2. There is sometimes after fighting where a monster will appear on the screen and will stop you from doing anything but accessing the menu.
Things to think about adding. -
1. More monster design's - At least 3 different monster design's
2. More attack animations or attacks in general
3. More dialogue with Vi I kinda feel bad leaving her out the picture.
Overall - 9/10 game

Just finished the demo.
I loved the artstyle and animation! This game looks really promising and I will definitely will be keeping my eye on it.
Really looking forward to the next scenes with the priestess and more fleshed out interactions with Vi and Sera, and hopefully more companions in future updates.
I'm also pretty interested in the story and how you handle Mars, the fact that he has his doubts about the methods used to bring down the Hero's party brings many interesting possible branching storylines, and I'm all for that.

I must say you really do have a good amount of content here. With the chats with Cecille. And when Vi asked about falling for Cecille, ouch. I must say those bed chats really get you attached to her. And then Sera has the same curse as Cecille at the very end. If there are going to be bed chats with her, I can tell you I will get attached to her as well. As this is only just the beginning of the work. I can see so many ways you can take this and add new features. Like, Cecille kept saying that hero must breed her. But what would happen if a Demon knocks her up? If a demon can get someone knocked up. I could also see more hard choices like the one Vi asked, like if there was an option to betray the demon king/side with the hero. Or betray the demon king and become the new demon king. There are so many ways you can take this, and you built a really good foundation.

Yeah, you're on to it. What you said is more or less what I have planned. There will be more choices like that to determine the outcome of the story.
The dynamic with Sera will be different than Cecille, but she will also have bed events to explore her backstory some more.
